In January of 2004 we had the distinct pleasure of meeting an extraordinary young girl named Brittany Streets, as well as, her extremely supportive family. Bill and I both agreed that for a 15 year-old, Brittany already possessed a strong sense of purpose and dedication to her dream of competing on a professional level in different equestrian events, including Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. We parted that meeting asking Brittany and her family to keep us up to date with news of her accomplishments.
A short time later Bill and I learned that Brittany’s beloved equine partner, a paint mare named Beauty, would have to be retired early from competition due to injury. We knew that this news would be taken very hard by Brittany and her parents, both emotionally and financially. So we decided to help by donating a three year-old mare of ours that was showing promise in her training.
Just a few weeks ago Brittany was finally able to meet her new partner, Nina, for the first time. We wish them both the best of luck and hope that they have a long and prosperous life together!
